The salad cutlery has a stainless steel blade, a plastic handle and an aluminium ornament in the middle. The materials are of very solid quality. The blade is 1.8 mm thick, does not bend and is made of 18/10 stainless steel. The handle is made of a strong plastic with a smooth glossy effect. The colour will not wear off because it is applied throughout the handle (and not as a thin coating on the surface).

The salad fork and salad spoon are 25 cm long. It is a pleasantly in-hand salad cutlery that is not only suitable for serving salads but can also be used excellently for serving vegetables, potatoes, pasta dishes, oven dishes and one-pot dishes.

The salad cutlery is dishwasher safe. We recommend washing it at a maximum temperature of 55˚ C.

Technical information handle:

PBT (polybutylene terephthalate) is a polyester thermoplastic of high strength, stiffness and hardness. This plastic is durable and resistant to high operating temperatures. The handles of this cutlery are also reinforced with glass fiber.

Technical information blade:

AISI 430 is a stainless steel type to which chromium has been added. This type of steel is often used for cutlery because it can be shaped well (spoons and forks), has a strong gloss layer and does not rust quickly.

18/10 stainless steel is a type of steel to which 18% chromium and 10% nickel have been added. Chromium gives the steel a durable shiny finish and nickel protects against rust. There are also types of cutlery steel (18/8 and 18/0) to which less or almost no nickel has been added. These are slightly less resistant to rust.
