Robust cast iron coaster with rubber feet to prevent damage to the table or counter. The design is classic and inspired by old French models. Made in the traditional way in sand casting moulds. Molten iron is poured into these moulds, which cools slowly. In this way it is possible to make elegant and thin connections that are nevertheless very strong. An ivory-colored coating is then applied to the iron to protect against rust. Excellent for setting up dishes and teapots so that table and countertops are spared. Also widely used as a coaster for plant pots.
